I live 2 hours from the historic town of Barkerville and if you can believe it, I have never been before until last weekend.  I went with Mary and Pierre and we had a great time touring through the old townsite.  Mary, of Dandelion Interpretation, used to be a tour guide in Wells, which is 2 minutes down the road from Barkerville, so she had many stories about the town, the people, and the history.  Hard to believe there is this much snow there, and nothing here!

Today I received a letter in the mail to say someone from the community had nominated me for a Business Excellence Award through the Williams Lake Chamber of Commerce.  You have no idea how much this excites me, and how honoured I am for this nomination!  The big announcement is March 13th, so just over a month away... I can't wait!!
