Last night I got some great pictures of the fire!  I heard the helicopters fly over today, but thankfully I cannot see smoke anymore, so I believe that it is under control.

This was the view last night from my parent's house.  This morning we can't see anything.  There is a raging forest fire not very far away!  

Minnie was kind enough to pose for me as she sat guard on the four wheeler and I had a chance to master some sun flare =)

Jodi is graduating this year and last night we went around Williams Lake and took a bunch of pictures of her in her amazing dress!  I have tons to share from this session =)  If you want something like this, just drop me an email or call me at 305-7141 and we can do a session just for you!  After grad, if you want to "trash" your grad dress, ie wear it in the water or riding your horse, and get some fun and fantastic images, just let me know!

A couple of weekends ago I had the chance to second shoot for my friend and fellow very talented local photographer, Laureen Carruthers.

Together we shot Heather and Shawn's wedding at Gavin Lake.

The two of them were piped into the ceremony and Shawn also wore a kilt:

The clouds and ice on the lake made for a spectacular backdrop for their ceremony!
