The morning of the wedding, the smoke from the local forest fires was so thick that we couldnt see anything, but it cleared off to be a spectacularly bright day!

We then found some windmills, and ended up driving across the entire country of Holland (only took an hour to get to the west coast) to the North Sea where she trashed her dress (but did not ruin it) in the water!































































**..**]]> Kathryn and Neill - Married in Amsterdam http://robynlouiseclients.com/blog/index.php?link=393 http://robynlouiseclients.com/blog/index.php?link=393 Sun, 22 Aug 2010 09:47:28 -0600 Kathyrn and Neill flew me to Amsterdam at the end of July to photograph their wedding....talk about a dream for a photographer!! Kathryn grew up in Canada, so the wedding was very much like every other wedding I photographed here, but I still think I got some of my best pictures ever... and wait until you see the TTD pictures which I will blog next!

The weather was quite drizzly all day but it sure allowed for the colors of the bridesmaid's to pop... love it!!

The bicycle really added something to this wedding... it was a great addition to the bridal party photos and so cute how Neill pedalled Kathryn around!

**..**]]> Nicole and Dylan - Smithers Wedding Photographer http://robynlouiseclients.com/blog/index.php?link=392 http://robynlouiseclients.com/blog/index.php?link=392 Sun, 22 Aug 2010 09:33:15 -0600 Nicole and Dylan were married in Smithers in July. Dylan is a helicopter pilot, so his friend Ryan from Canadian Helicopters flew us to the top of Hudson Bay Mountain where we took some amazing pictures with the most spectacular backdrop. After the pictures we did a short tour around before heading back down the hill... talk abou a wedding for me to remember... nothing like sitting in the co-pilots seat, hugging the mountain edge!

Dylan is a helicopter pilot and so he had one of his good helicopter pilot friends fly us to the top of the Hudson Bay mountain in Smithers and we did pictures up there!!! As a photographer I could not have asked for a more picturesque setting than this:



















Something else super cool? When Nicole's father immigrated to Canada from Poland (before Nicole was born), his first job was in my hometown of Alexis Creek. 99% of people in BC have never heard of Alexis Creek, that's how small it is... but this just proves what a small place the entire world is :)

I absolutley love the colours of these pictures... the ocean was so turquoise and the sky so blue... absolutely perfect :)







The morning that I left we set out for a hurried fifteen minute session as I had been told my bus to the airport was leaving at a certain time, but then I ended up waiting for it in the lobby for an extra hour and a half... but that doesnt matter... in those short 15 minutes we got some HOTTTTT pictures of Tasha and Tim in the ocean in front of the resort!
